ADIVA Announces Joint Marketing Agreement with Cadence Design Systems

ADIVA Corporation, a leader in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Validation, announced the signing of a joint marketing agreement with Cadence Design Systems Inc., a leader in global electronic design innovation.

These two companies are collaborating to offer a seamless process flow for PCB Design. This process will ensure the PCB design meets both design and manufacturing/assembly requirements with increased first-pass success. ADIVA and Cadence will work together on an ongoing basis to address customer requirements in an ever-increasing complex environment.

PCB Design must not only meet design intent but also meet a user’s requirements to manufacture the PCB in a cost-effective manner. Advanced technology and expertise of the two companies will deliver a combined solution to satisfy customer requirements. Manufacturing and testing the PCB in software will enable users to find and correct problems before the design ever leaves to be manufactured.

Letha Rousseau, prototype program manager for HP, stated: "I am pleased to hear that ADIVA and Cadence are joining forces to provide an integrated solution to enhance our design capabilities. Our company uses both solutions currently. I see this collaboration as a very positive step in our ability to meet HP's complex design requirements."

Rick Bearden Sr., PC Design Manager N. America for LTX-Credence added “I am very happy to hear that Cadence and ADIVA are collaborating to further improve their tools with an integrated solution. We use both tools daily and believe that this integration will be beneficial in helping us meet our design targets on time and within budget.”

AJ Incorvaia, Cadence Vice President of Product Development and Management, stated, "The combination of Cadence design innovation and ADIVA's leading DFx technology will provide an unbeatable solution to our customers. The collaboration is already bearing fruit as we introduce the IPC Open Standard 2581 to the industry and PCB supply chain."

ADIVA President, John Milks, stated, " ADIVA and Cadence offer world-class solutions for designing complex printed circuit boards in today’s competitive environment. The signing of this agreement ensures a high level of commitment from both parties to meet the needs of PCB Designers. I am excited to work closely with Cadence in providing this integrated solution. The result will be a significant savings of cycle time and money for our customers."
